Waikiki Landmark - Truly a "Landmark" Property

This spectacular and unique building is indeed a "landmark" in Waikiki.  The Waikiki Landmark is one of Hawaii's premier luxury residential high-rises.  Completed in 1992, until quite recently it was the newest high-rise condominium in Waikiki.  It's unique architectural design lives up to its name.  Twin towers faced with granite and glass soar 33 stories above Waikiki, bridged at the top by five levels of penthouse apartments, homes to the rich and famous.

Each tower is triangular in shape, which optimizes view potential.  High speed elevators lined with granite and koa wood wisk you up to Hale Kawika at Waikiki Landmark, which shares the 29th floor of the Makai Tower exclusively with only two other apartments.  Our unit has sweeping views of the Koolau Mountains, the Ala Wai Canal, Diamond Head Crater, Waikiki, Kalakaua Avenue - Waikiki's main thoroughfare, the Pacific Ocean, Fort Derussy, and the city of Honolulu.  From the wrap around lanai or the protected lanai you can enjoy legendary Hawaiian sunrises and sunsets!  There is lanai access from every room (other than the baths, of course!).  Have a bird's eye view of the many parades on Kalakaua Avenue.  Spot the boats and surfers off the coast of Waikiki.  Waikiki at night is especially enchanting.  Watch the moon rise over the Ala Wai Canal.  Observe the twinkling lights of this bustling tropical resort from your bed in the master suite.

The Waikiki Landmark has sophisticated, state-of-the-art life safety and security systems which are monitored 24 hours a day by an on-site professional security staff.  Building access is restricted to authorized persons only.  Security cameras are located throughout the premises.  The private parking garage includes assigned spaces for each unit, plus ample guest parking.

The Recreation Deck, located on the 15th floor, features an unsurpassed outdoor recreational oasis which is sheltered, secluded, and beautifully landscaped.  It also enjoys spectacular views of the mountains and the Honolulu skyline.

For serious swimmers, there is a lap pool as well as an expansive free-form pool connected by a gracious waterfall.  There are two relaxing spas, one for adults and one for children.  A large shallow children's pool completes the water features. The spacious sun deck is furnished with chaise lounge chairs.  A full kitchen in the covered picnic area is a great place to have a barbecue or to entertain guests.  Enjoy this exclusive private deck to relax, unwind, sunbathe, workout, or socialize.

    David,
We had a wonderful month at your condo in 2006. I would sincerely hope that the building owners or association would invest in a pool heater for the large pool. The water was soooo cold, it hurt our ears. Other than that, good to see you've replaced the carpet with the flooring shown.
